Haves & Havenots. This stunning new release has been getting all kinds of attention from the world's top dj's. It's gotten play on Digweed's radio show, and is turning out dancefloors worldwide. It's droney peak material from Alland Byallo this time around. Haves is a darker affair, leaning mostly on the drone. It's thick with atmosphere and mood. Havenots is a harder track with a serious techno furvor to it. Baboon Bus has a dark and spacey backbone that whips up into a droney, wild and weird frenzy. Drumcell comes with a jackin and quirky remix that is sure to get people movin!
Supported by respected DJ's such as: Dan Curtin, Justin Maxwell, Claude VonStroke, Mike Monday, DJinxx, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Elon, Noah Pred, Mark Henning, Mikael Stavostrand, Someone Else, Deepchild, Brendon Moeller, Limacon, Mateo Muprhy, Tuomas Salmela aka Phonogenic, and many more!

Nightlight is proud to have a few new members join our family. First and foremost is Mattie Bowen aka Mossmoss. He's been rocking the decks around SF lately, and his production will no doubt take this kid world class sooner than later! His debut EP for Nightlight is called Eating Glass. It's a fragmented freakout, full of rolling gritty synth work and intricate rhythms. It's no micro-glitch affair, though. This is a serious piece of peak hour heat.
We've got a few new faces on remix duties. Wiz kids Monocle - award winning sound designers Christina Chatfield and Danny Patterson - bring the business with their vision. They keep the running theme intact, but give it their signature sex appeal. You're going to absolutely love this version. They're quickly gaining a reputation for quality, intelligent, sleazy techno around San Francisco, and soon the world! We round out the package with two fresh faces, Roman Stange and Travis Dalton. Roman has been working hard with the Auralism crew in San Francisco, and has quite an interesting background in music. Travis Dalton has been promoting events in the city for some time now, and his ear for quality shines in his version. I'm proud to have this new crew, my personal friends, as part of the Nightlight Music family. I admire their passion and energy, and I know they will make great things happen for the label.

Sinister bells, twisted leads and haunting pads collide! This epic beast of an EP has something for everybody. Techno and minimal fans will love the First Ring mix. A bit more percussive and edgy, this cut takes the cake for post-peak slot material. The Second and Third Ring mixes bring deliciously evil pads into play, guiding and coasting underneath bubbling beats and fat basslines. Second Ring has a real build to it, starting with a muffled bassline that builds into a high resolution monster. Add Taiko drum hits and spooky supportive pads and there's no question where the title of this EP comes from. The Third Ring is driven by a intense lead, showing off Alland's taste for complex melodies. This one is a bit more pensive than the former two mixes, but no less emotive and intense. This release has some serious mood!

Nightlight is proud to bring music by Sebastian Herre, owner of the mighty Produkt Schallplatten! Sebastian is a hard worker, spreading the word of quality minimal house and techno on his own label as well as many other quality imprints such as Topaz, Safari Electronique, and Gastspiel. Raum & Rausch is made up of three amazing tech-house tracks, each with their own unique vibe. Waadt is a relentless and pensive machine, driven by haunting pads and synths. Grand Val is a more organic, bongo-driven housey affair, perfect for the Summer months ahead! Balkan Table Savoury is the most emtional track on the EP. Herre couples steady drums and melencholy synthwork here, making for a beautiful deep techno cut. Remixes provided by our new family members Clint Stewart and Suz. Supported by: Dan Curtin, Mateo Murphy, DJ Chloe, Mazi, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Phonogenic, Jeff Milligan, Maetrik, Kenneth Scott and more!

Kenneth Scott provided a slammin' remix on NLM09, and now he's back! NLM11 is his collaboration with label owner Alland Byallo. This summery slab of tech-house brings together tight beats, clangy percussion, light hearted bells, and sinister, psychadelic leads. The alternate veersion is more straight up techno affair, pairing skittery, but more linear drums with the track's signature clangs and bells. Minimal techno legend D.Diggler provides a funky revision of the track, instilling all kinds of housey bounce. Definitely something both techno and house dj's will enjoy. Worthy wraps up the release with a darker take on Tomorrow. His throbbing basslines are well known all over the world now, and this remix takes no shorts on that! He plucks out the bells and packs in the dirty groove like none other! Supported by 3 Channels, Dan Curtin, Style of Eye, Onionz, James Talk, Mazi and many more!

Following the succesfull revival of the label with the "Tried & True" EP ,
Alland Byallo shows a more organic and deep side on this
release. "Curd"is a percussive
and droney tech-house affair that shows off Alland's
more playful side. Striking bongos duel with offset 909
hi hats and digital noise, building and bringing the
track to a whirring frenzy. "Whey" has a more
smoothed out approach, while still retaining the atmospheric
madness of "Curd". Alland binds elements of
his deep house and techno roots together to form one
cohesive storm of chunked out funk. A flurry of 808 snare
rolls builds up to a dizzying crescendo drops back with
a deep, chord driven finale. Madness! Mikael
Stavostrand,
the Swedish techno mastermind, picks up some of "Curd"'s
character and slices it up for his more hypnotic vision.
Percussion and moving bass is the theme on this stunning
rework. Tuning Spork wonderboy Michal
Ho brings his signature
surgically precise percussion to the table, slicing and
dicing up the funk of "Curd" to deliver a smooth,
classy and mature mood.

NLM07 is our label's first sampler
compilation. Nimbus, a greatly talente UK trio, brings
a beautiful tech-house number called Sola. Lush atmosphere

houser, funky and chunky! San Francisco native Eli Bingham

that just begs for peak play. Finally, Croydon style

NLM09 is Joshua's Collins' Must Please
You. Josh is a well seasoned producer, and a small label
like ours is quite lucky to work with talent of this
caliber. The original mix, is a lovely bit of driving
tech-house, fringed with pretty voceded vocals. The moody
little driver is remixed by the amazing Earth Deuley,
notorious for his dark and detailed take on tech-house.
Paolo Mojo, who has recorded for such reputable as Saved
Records and Sensei, has crafted a fun and melodic remix,
making this a well diverse release and a definite must-own.

NLM05 marks a new era for Nightlight.
Up to this point, Nightlight has only released music
by the label owner, Alland Byallo. But there was no
way to resist working with the talented Brandon Plank,
once these tracks were heard! I Am, an acid line driven
groover, is hell bent on whipping the dancefloor up into
a frenzy! Smoothed Out is a funky techno track that would
easily find it's way into the sets of those inspired
by DJ's such as Eddie Richards and Doc Martin. Funky
West Coast vibes drive these release. Alland Byallo softens
up the mood of I Am, with a dubbed out version thats
perfect for the start or end of a DJ set.
